Are Casinos Assessing Their Drinking Games?

Just recently, the world has witnessed the rise of internet gaming in India. However, there have been a number of instances where sites based in Europe have been found to indulge in practices that aren't only unethical but also illegal in many cases. Such examples include running gaming networks, embezzling funds from card players along with facilitating online gambling via credit cards. As a result, many European casinos have shut down their operations from India because of law enforcement actions and threats from several state officials.

The same has occurred with the event of a few of the most common European casinos in India, which was closed down by the Indian government because of security issues. The closure followed months of debate involving officials from the Ministry of Gaming and Racing and the casino owners of those online casinos in India. The last blow to the internet casinos came after the regulatory body, the Gaming Corporation of India (GCI), which was given the power by the Supreme Court in November 2008, stated that the closing of the casino was"in contravention of this regulation of gambling and wealth management acts". At the moment, the Gaming Corporation had said that it had obtained information about embezzlement of funds from some employees of the casino.
